The WallSmart Wall System is the intelligent choice for acoustic fabric wall systems for sound dampening, reduction or reflection in any application. We carry a wide variety of systems that provide excellent sound absorption and tackability as well as an elegant appearance. Our system is designed to enhance any office, conference room, auditorium or any area where sound control is of concern without any aesthetic compromise.

The WallSmart Stretch Fabric Soundproofing System is the Smart System of choice because it is fabricated on site, custom fit to your exact dimensions and engineered for ease of removal and replacement. This allows for ease of cleaning and repair and allows you to change the décor of your room over the years.

Our WallSmart Stretch Fabric Soundproofing System installation uses a concealed system of support, completely finishing off exposed perimeters and corners and detailing all joint conditions. This is done through a polymer framing track available in various shapes and sizes, the core of the system which provides sound absorption and the panel fabric which is available in a variety of colors, styles and textures.

THE WALLSMART ACOUSTICAL SYSTEM TRACK

The WallSmart Polymer Framing Track, available in various thicknesses and depths, allows for the fabric to be tightly secured and stretched over the core material. The Polymer framing will never rust or weaken under normal conditions and allows for a choice of the "WallSmart Standard" square profile. On-site custom fitting of our track system allows us to accommodate construction irregularities and can be installed on gypsum board, plaster, wood, concrete block, brick and even metal surfaces.

Our system allows for the creativity in design with capabilities to mold, curve and shape the system and can be used in a sequence to form a design of any width while meeting the requirements necessary and set forth by the acoustical engineer to provide the effective sound absorption.

THE WALLSMART ACOUSTICAL SYSTEM CORE

Whether your goal is Sound Absorption, Sound Reflection, or Tackability, the WallSmart Acoustical Panel System offers a variety of cores depending on your design needs and requirements. Of course, all the cores are concealed behind the fabric and fastened to the existing surface which allows for design options without compromising the décor and aesthetics of your home, office, studio or conference room.

Rigid board is made from glass fibers that are bonded with a resin and then formed into our fiberglass Core boards. Rigid acoustical board is available with densities between 2.5 pound to 10 pound PCF. The standard is 6 pound PCF which resists most indentations and provides great acoustical value.

Sound Absorption Core

In most sound absorbing applications, a single density fiberglass core is used. Our cores range from a black soft pillow effect core to a more rigid fiberglass core, and are available for depths of less than an inch to over two inches. The most common ceiling sound absorbing core is a white Batt core using a common wall fabric panel.

Tackable Core

The Tackable core is a mineral fiber board which has both acoustical properties as well as practical advantages making it useful in the office and conference room. This application is available for systems up to one inch. The board is light grey in color, does not absorb moisture and therefore will not warp under normal conditions.

This offers outstanding resilience, high "k" factor, heavy density and best surface hardness of any Micore board and is ideal for an acoustical tack board behind your selected fabric.

Special Cores

There are many surfaces and materials that can be used with our WallSmart Polymer Track System and can be custom-made to fit your needs whether using a combination of Core Materials. Adding nailer strips allows for hanging pictures, displays, charts or other decorations and visual aids.

Sound Reflection

The Core material for Sound Reflection would be a hard reflective substance for applications up to one inch covered by our Stretch Fabric, providing quality sound reflection to meet your needs.

THE WALLSMART ACOUSTIC SYSTEM FABRICS

Selecting the fabric for your specific application and environment is the final element to our Soundproofing System for which you may choose from a wide variety of panel and upholstery fabrics.

We will consult and work with those involved including the engineer and designer to determine the best suitable fabric to meet your needs and décor while insuring the fabric provides the best solution and reduces the risk of problems in the future.

There are some fabrics that are best suited for specific applications and there are fabrics which will not serve the purpose you are targeting. There are also some fabrics that we would not recommend when assessing your application and conditions of your environment such as excess moisture or humidity which some fabrics can absorb, causing it to stretch and sag.

Every unique application needs to be assessed and the most applicable, correct fabric choice must be made to insure that the WallSmart System achieves your needs. Your fabric choice does not compromise the effectiveness of the system as it is an integral element of our WallSmart Soundproofing System.

Our WallSmart Stretch Fabric Acoustical Wall and Ceiling Systems have been designed to be the most versatile and affordable systems on the market for Sound Absorption, Sound Reflection and Sound Proofing your Home, Office, Conference Room, Sound Studio, Auditorium, Church or other applications without compromise for safety.

Our Stretch Fabric Wall System has been designed to meet or exceed the class one requirements contained in NFTA life safety code #101 and Class A rating with a spread rate of less than 25, ASTM - E 84 Test.
